Aidan Browne, Partner in the Boston office and Chairman of the Boston Friends of the Gaelic Players Association, played a pivotal role in hosting and chairing the Third Annual GPA CEO Champions Lunch at Fenway on Friday, November 8th. The lunch brought together 250 leading business people in the Boston and Irish communities and raised over $130,000 to support the Gaelic Players Association's programming to help elite Hurlers and Gaelic Footballers (men and women) with professional development, well-being, and leadership training. The lunch also kicked off the Super 11s Hurling Classic, which this year took place on November 16th at Citi Field (Mets Stadium) in Queens, NY following its previous success at Fenway.

The CEO Lunch program included keynote speeches and panel discussions featuring Sam Kennedy, President and CEO of the Boston Red Sox and Fenway Sports Management, Bill Powers, President and CEO of Cambridge Mobile Telematics, and Paul Flynn, CEO of GPA. In addition to the guest speakers, there was a panel discussion with current players Siobhan McGrath (Dublin Gaelic Footballer), Ciaran Kilkenny (Dublin Gaelic Footballer), Lorraine Ryan (Galway Camogie Captain), and Podge Collins (Clare Hurler and Gaelic Footballer). Each of the speakers and panelists touched on the ways in which the four pillars of the lunch – leadership, team-building, dealing with adversity and winning – come to bear on their personal experiences navigating their athletic and professional careers.

For the duration of the event, the Sullivan logo could be seen throughout the park, featured on the Centerfield jumbotron sign, the banners behind the podium, the welcome booklets at each place setting, and the sliotars used for hurling that decorated the tables. The event was attended by Joel Carpenter, Ojen Sirin, Michelle Janer, Joe Donovan, Lew Segall, Pat Dinardo, Adam Weisenberg, Victor Baltera, Heather Barry, John Hunt, Carolyn Gardella, Kristen Shepherd, Brooke Elowe, and Clio Barr.
